I almost passed this staircase, located in Eindhoven’s ex-industrial Strijp complex, when visiting the 2011 Dutch Design Week. It leads nowhere, there’s nothing at the end and nothing above that needs to be reached. I never climbed it though. There might be an overlooked insight on the fourth step.

I like the light and shadows in this picture, and how it reminds me of Basil Fawlty.
